Challenge
The Multichoice Talent Factory was created to nurture the next generation of African filmmakers and creatives across more than 40 countries. While the programme offered technical and artistic training, there was a gap when it came to developing creative leadership, business acumen, and personal mastery.
Multichoice partnered with Alchemy Inspiration to help bridge this gap and unlock not just talent, but sustainable creative entrepreneurship.

Our Approach
We designed and delivered an immersive curriculum in partnership with Henley Business School, tailored specifically to the African creative context. Each regional cohort—East, West, and Southern Africa—received modules focused on self-leadership, values, emotional intelligence, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all model, we created learning environments that respected cultural nuance, identity, and storytelling traditions. Our work focused on enabling creatives to see themselves not just as artists—but as change agents, business leaders, and brand custodians of African narratives.

The Shift
Participants moved from “talented but unsure” to confident, purpose-led creators who understood their power and potential. Connections within cohorts deepened. Creative partnerships formed across countries. And for many, the programme served as a turning point, not just professionally, but personally.
